HitDirector started in 2007 as Hit Director Domains — a hosting company Jeremy built while working as a Senior Linux Administrator, after nearly a decade managing high-traffic web infrastructure.
Life moved forward. Jeremy took his expertise to eBay, spending 10 years as a Unix Systems Engineer and Incident Responder keeping one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms online. Then to Upstart, serving as Senior SRE and Incident Commander for enterprise production systems at a fast-moving fintech. Today he's Principal SRE and Incident Commander at Dynascale, architecting highly available cloud platforms across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
His brother Anthony followed a parallel path — Unix Systems Engineer and Incident Responder at one of the world's highest-traffic e-commerce platforms for over a decade, then Senior SRE and Incident Commander at Upstart. The same discipline. The same obsession with systems that don't go down.
In 2024, Jeremy brought HitDirector back — rebuilt from the ground up with AI tools, enterprise infrastructure, and a simple conviction:

Jeremy has been building and operating web infrastructure since 1998 — starting as a Unix and Linux administrator managing high-traffic e-commerce clusters, founding the original Hit Director Domains in 2007, and spending the next 15 years at eBay and Upstart as a Unix Systems Engineer and Senior SRE / Incident Commander.
Today he serves as Principal SRE and Incident Commander at Dynascale, where he architects highly available cloud platforms across AWS, GCP, and Azure. HitDirector is his return to what he started — now with enterprise-grade tooling, AI capabilities, and 25 years of hard-won operational experience behind every client site.
